Last 2 days at sea before Tahiti

More days at sea under near perfect conditions, before we arrive at Papeete on the morning of 6^thOctober.  Seas are still slight, and the breeze 10 -15 knots. There is bright sunshine and the temperature is steadily rising. Pretty idyllic conditions to be at sea.

The 4^thwas a lazy day at sea, with lots of relaxing, reading etc, and another memorable dinner at the Crown Grill. The lamb cutlets were terrific.

It is now the 5^th, we have been going now for almost 5 days without sight of another ship or yacht for the whole 5 days. Nor have we seen any land. This afternoon we saw a pod of dolphins off the starboard side, the first signs of wildlife we have seen on this leg.

Todays’ temperature is around 27 C and the humidity is rising, but it is still very pleasant out on the deck. Hopefully the nice weather will hold for the next few days when we are in Tahiti and Moorea.

We plan to berth at Papeete at 8 am tomorrow morning.
