Still at sea, next stop Honolulu
27th& 28thSeptember 2019
Still at sea we have had a couple of perfect days on the water. We have sunny days, slight seas, and temperatures in the mid 20’s. The humidity has been increasing but there is enough breeze to still make it quite pleasant.
Finally, today 28th, we see signs of wildlife. On our morning walk we see flying fish trying to escape the wake of the ship and a few sea birds come into sight. There is still no sign of any other vessels and a dedicated team of whale watchers on the bow are still looking out over the horizon with their binoculars and high powered cameras hoping to see something.
For us, it has been a couple of relaxing days, getting a bit of exercise, reading and this afternoon watching a replay of the AFL Grand Final on the big screen on the pool deck.
Tomorrow we will berth in Honolulu at 7 am, and as we have been here before, we have not booked any tours from the ship. The plan is to get a rental car and do our own thing.
